Scotiabank Dance Centre
Back by popular demand, JOE INK’s production of 4OUR will be back in Vancouver for a one-night only performance at the Scotiabank Dance Centre. The performance in Vancouver will kick off 4OUR’s first-ever Atlantic Canada tour, with stops in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador. Joining Joe Laughlin will be original cast members Gioconda Barbuto and Heather Dotto, along with a new face, the Dora-award nominated dancer Jarrett Siddall.
Being Jarrett’s first time working with Joe, Gioconda and Heather, he is excited to have the opportunity to learn and dance with the trio. Jarrett was approached by Joe back in April, when both had performances in Toronto and the rest, as they all say, is history.
Jarrett was immediately drawn to beautiful imagery 4OUR conveys. The ensemble work of the choreography also draws his attention, as all four members of the dance troupe is on stage during the entire performance, reacting to each other either on the side lines or at the forefront. He is also excited to learn from the original cast members and the expertise they bring with them; it’s not every day a cast of performers are selected specifically because of their many different levels of experience. An amazing project, Jarrett exclaims how the entire production has a sense of ‘togetherness’ and that that makes 4OUR extremely special.
Don’t wait and let this opportunity to experience 4OUR pass you by! Links to purchasing tickets can be found here or at the bottom of this article.
